Reasons Why You Should Try Delta 8

First of all, you need to understand what Delta 8 THC is and what it can do. The cannabis plant produces over one hundred cannabinoids, such as Delta 9 THC and Delta 8 THC. These are compounds that can be used to create products that cause psychoactive effects. In essence, Delta 8 can be consumed or inhaled to get you high. And if you want to know more you can find out delta 8 flowers too for more info.

There are several benefits to using Delta 8 THC products, including the milder high they produce, the fact that Delta 8 products derived from hemp are federally legal in the US, the variety of products, and the health and wellbeing positive effects, for instance, stress relief and alleviating nausea.

1. It Produces A More Gentle High

The regular variant of THC that is used to get high, and is illegal in many states and most countries, is Delta 9 THC. Delta 9 provides an intense, euphoric high. Meanwhile, Delta 8 will also get you high, but it is a much less intense and gentler high than with Delta 9 THC products. This can be a positive, especially for first-time or irregular users, who are more likely to accidentally overdo their cannabis consumption.

The laidback relief of a Delta 8 high experience can produce an energized feeling in consumers. This may seem like an oxymoron, but because users are more relaxed, they can go about their day being more productive and pleasant. Unlike with Delta 9, Delta 8 will not give you an overwhelming high that leaves you feeling out of control, nor will you get brain fog and feelings of anxiety. The whole experience is much more mellow.

2. Delta 8 Is Federally Legal

In the United States, any product extracted naturally from hemp is federally legal, and this includes Delta 8 THC. The implication of this is that you can buy Delta 8 products and experience a legal high. However, any Delta 8 products that are derived from marijuana can only be purchased in states that have legalized recreational cannabis use, so make sure you know where your Delta 8 is coming from.

3. There is a Variety of Products

There is a wide range of Delta 8 products available for you to try, depending on your preferred methods of consumption or inhalation. You can shop online at https://dharmad8.com/ for Delta 8 products derived from premium industrial hemp. These products include hemp flower, edibles, tinctures, and pre-rolled joints and are all 3rd party lab tested for purity and potency.

4. It Relieves Feelings of Stress

As it has already been noted, the Delta 8 high experience is known to be relaxing, pleasant, and much less intense than a regular THC high. The elated but calm feeling that comes over you can also make you more focused and productive. There are many benefits to this kind of high. For instance, it can make flying more bearable, help you work to a deadline, and help you to sleep, which is particularly useful for those who suffer from insomnia.

5. Delta 8 Can Boost Your Appetite

If you struggle with a low appetite or disordered eating, you could benefit from this side effect. It is thought that Delta 8 produces an appetite boost twice as strong as Delta 9. This can be a positive and fun bonus of the Delta 8 high for people who enjoy getting the munchies.

Moreover, Delta 8 is great at relieving feelings of nausea and preventing vomiting. This makes it an effective adjunctive treatment for the side effects of conventional cancer therapies that can make the patient nauseous.

Try A Delta 8 Product Today

If you were considering trying a Delta 8 product, this guide is the sign you’ve been waiting for. The benefits of these products are vast and compelling. A key element of Delta 8’s increasing popularity is the milder, more energetic, and less intense high it provides. This means you will be productive, pleasant, and calm, rather than stuck to the couch, inactive with brain fog.

If you do not live in a state where Delta 9 THC is legal, Delta 8 derived from industrial hemp is a great alternative as it is federally legal, and you can order it straight to your door. Whether your product of choice is edible gummies, pre-rolled joints, or oils, a search of the wide range of products available online will produce the Delta 8 experience you are looking for.

These are just some of the health benefits. In essence, Delta 8 is a solid choice for you – shop online today for your tranquil Delta 8 high.

Marilyn Manson Sues Evan Rachel Wood for Defamation

Marilyn Manson is suing Evan Rachel Wood for defamation, as Deadline reports. The lawsuit, which was filed in a California court by Manson’s attorney Howard E. King, comes over a year after Wood publicly accused him of abuse, saying that he started grooming her when she was a teenager and “horrifically abused me for years.” At the time, Manson denied the allegations and called them “horrible distortions of reality.”

The suit claims that Wood committed “to publicly cast Plaintiff Brian Warner, p/k/a Marilyn Manson, as a rapist and abuser—a malicious falsehood that has derailed Warner’s successful music, TV, and film career.” Illma Gore, who is described as Wood’s “on-again, off-again romantic partner,” is also named as a defendant.

In addition, the lawsuit claims that Wood and Gore “created a fictitious email account to manufacture purported evidence that Warner was emailing illicit pornography” and that they impersonated an FBI agent “to create the false appearance that Warner’s alleged “victims” and their families were in danger, and that there was a federal criminal investigation of Warner ongoing.”

Manson and his lawyer also allege that Wood and Gore “provided checklists and scripts to prospective accusers, listing the specific alleged acts of abuse that they should claim against Warner” and that they “made knowingly false statement to prospective accusers which have since been repeated by those accusers in court filings), including the defamatory claim that Warner filmed the sexual assault of a minor.”

The suit is seeking a jury trial and “an order enjoining Wood and Gore from engaging in further wrongful conduct toward Warner.”

In a statement to Deadline, King said: “We’re filing this now because we have been able to gather an overwhelming trove of evidence – including both documents and witness statements – which proves that the stories that Evan Rachel Wood and her co-conspirator Illma Gore have been falsifying and spreading are both vindictive and demonstrably untrue.”

Wood is the subject of Phoenix Rising, a two-part documentary that will air on HBO following its premiere at Sundance Film Festival in January. In the film, directed by Amy Berg, Wood claims that Manson “essentially raped” her during the filming of the music video for Manson’s 2007 song ‘Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand)’.

Calexico Release New Song ‘Harness the Wind’

Calexico have released a new song, ‘Harness the Wind’, lifted from their forthcoming album El Mirador. The track features backing vocals from longtime collaborator Sam Beam of Iron & Wine, and you can check it out below.

“When we recorded ‘Harness the Wind’ it felt like we tapped into a spark of bright light and positivity,” Calexico’s Joey Burns said in a statement. “Everything fell together quickly and naturally. With the shiny electric guitar weaving in and out of John and Sergio’s propelling drums and bass, the song always had a vibe that stood out from the other songs. We sent the tracks to Sam Beam to add his vocals on the chorus which made the tune float even more. It’s a song about hope and sharing compassion to fellow travelers and dreamers who are trying to find their way.”

El Mirador is out April 8 via City Slang. Calexico previously unveiled the album’s title track.

Barrie Shares New Single ‘Concrete’

Barrie has shared another single from her forthcoming album BarbaraIt’s called ‘Concrete’, and it follows previous cuts ‘Dig’, ‘Frankie’, ‘Quarry’, and ‘Jenny’. The song is written, orchestrated, and produced by Barrie, who also directed its music video. Check it out below.

“[‘Concrete’] is about taking the time and energy to figure out who you are,” Barrie explained in a press release. “Learning to take up space and be yourself, unapologetically. This process can feel selfish and even sinister, depending on how you are conditioned socially… but the major modulation in the final chorus is about finding power and confidence in that self-actualization.”

Barbara, the follow-up to 2019’s Happy to Be Here, is due for release on March 25 via Winspear.

Album Review: Gang of Youths, ‘angel in realtime.’

A simple truth underpins Gang of Youths’ music: there’s always so much to say. On their first two albums, 2015’s The Positions and 2017’s Go Farther In Lightness, the Australian five-piece channeled a kind of intense emotionality – spirituality, even – in songs that felt as grand as life’s biggest, most inescapable questions. But unlike many bands with similarly outsized ambitions, they make stadium-ready indie rock that’s earnest and anthemic without veering into self-indulgence. If you’re inclined to avoid any act that can be compared to U2, the 1975, and the National within the same breath, consider that Gang of Youths somehow manage to take only the most endearing qualities of their influences while doubling down on their own singular vision, one they approach with newfound clarity and depth on their latest LP. angel in realtime., their first record after signing with Warner in 2019, eliminates any fear that this secret magic will be lost if they so much as go on raising the stakes.

In some ways, this is exactly what angel in realtime. does for Gang of Youths. It’s as cinematic and majestic as you’d expect a band with a consistently growing international audience to sound, with lush orchestral sections and intricately detailed arrangements complementing frontman Dave Le’aupepe’s rich, poetic songwriting. The layered production is never a drawback; pick any one of the album’s soaring early singles – be it ‘the angel of 8th ave.’, ‘in the wake of your leave’, or ‘tend the garden’ – and you’re likely to find something infectious and propulsive to latch onto on first listen. Experienced as a whole, however, the album reveals the true scale and complexity of the band’s music, their ability to evoke personal tragedy in terms both raw and profoundly universal.

Although angel in realtime. is Gang of Youths’ most diverse-sounding effort to date – ‘the man himself’ combines breakbeats, a 42-string orchestra, and samples of traditional Cook Islander hymns – it never quite feels larger than life. That’s because the music never seeks transcendence so much as it serves as an honest tribute to life’s unpredictability: all the beauty it brings and can just as easily take away. Any album that’s over an hour long can be overwhelming, but Gang of Youths keep things strikingly intimate, treating the drama with care and empathy. The story of the album was inspired by Le’aupepe’s Samoan-born father, who died of cancer in 2018, and the secrets that came to light in the wake of his passing. Yet it’s not an attempt to mythologize his father’s life so much as untangle the complicated feelings grief and confusion Le’aupepe was left to wrestle with, many of which have more to do with his own self. The opening track, ‘you in everything’, raises a staggeringly existential question: “How do I face the world? Or raise a fuckin’ kid?/ Or see beauty in the Earth and all its majesty replete/ When I’ve spent the better part of my twenties/ Doing self-indulgent bullshit on repeat?”

Some of the album’s most compelling moments find Le’aupepe directly adopting his father’s voice. The exquisite ‘tend the garden’ follows his move from Samoa to New Zealand to Australia, resting in the chorus for a moment of reflection: “Lord knows if they would ever forgive me I don’t forgive myself at least/ There are strange forces in the air only time can release in a way I still believe.” Yet the most resonant song is the one that proves Gang of Youths are not just capable of moving their sound in a more minimalist direction, but recognize when it’s necessary. ‘brothers’ leaves us with just Le’aupepe and his piano, and the perspective is fully and devastatingly his own as he recounts the things about his father that he never knew until after his death, including the fact that he had another family in New Zealand.

As much as angel in realtime. is about reckoning with the legacy of Le’aupepe’s father – weaving it into the fabric of the album and even opening up its palette to explore his family’s cultural background – it’s never so personal that it stops feeling like a Gang of Youths album. Like before, they go about relaying their experience in ways that are graceful and slightly strange, lending Le’aupepe’s confessions a transformative quality. On ‘forbearance’, dealing with his father’s illness causes him to reflect on his own sins; the song alludes to one of the band’s most beloved songs, ‘Magnolia’, which is about Le’aupepe’s suicide attempt. “I didn’t say goodbye to my father who was like the one person in the world that I should have at least said goodbye to,” Le’aupepe has said. “And I’ve always felt guilty about that.” At the end of the day, Gang of Youths are drawn to this type of storytelling because it offers a chance to say what might otherwise be left unspoken, to capture a small part of what Le’aupepe calls “the cosmic ballet.” And whatever that entails, there’s clearly so much of it.
