NEVERCREW a pair of artist based in Switzerland create colourfull thought provoking street art.
The pair has been working together since 1996 and have created many great pieces along the way. This bright mural was created in Vancouver(CA) for Vancouver Mural Festival, 2016. The bright red works in great contrast with the white wall creating a striking appearance. Like many of their other pieces that depict animals, this could clearly be interpreted as a visual statement on nature and our relationship and impact towards our environment.

KLANGPLANET is a terrific music producer who combines unique elements to make some of the most exciting music around today.
We have selected his music to our Sound Selection twice now, and this time we decided just to interview him. Here is our interview with Frieder, the man behind KLANGPLANET.
Hi, how are you?
I’m fine thank you – it’s a great pleasure sharing my music these days
So, how did KLANGPLANET come about?
For some reason, I felt the time is right to release a solo project reflecting all my passion for music in order to share it with music lovers all over the planet
You mixed a lot of deep and nature elements in your song ‘Starlight’, how did you decide to combine those?
It actually started with pictures in my head and nature sounds popped up being the core part of my mind-traveling. All I had to do is dropping those piano notes to paint a picture and adding more elements to create a scenery.
You mostly make Deep House; do you decide the genre of the song beforehand or when you have already developed the bones of the song?
There is no particular reason for choosing Deep House, in fact, I didn’t even think about a particular genre when I started – it just developed and it became a colouring of moods that I felt suits quite well
What is your process in collecting sounds for your song?
It starts with a memory of places or situations that mean something to me and so far matching field recordings have been available. I also combine those sounds to create a vivid sound layer as it is a musical journey instead of static moments
If you could give any advice to aspiring music producers what would it be?
Well, follow your passion that’s key and always be confident in what you’re doing. Don’t be discouraged an keep on being creative and being yourself
What are your plans for the rest of 2017?
Good question, actually I will go on as always – once there is an idea I start writing music and if there isn’t any for the moment it’s o.k. – no pressure. But of course I hope I’ll be able to still write a few tracks in 2017
And our final question. What is your definition of culture?
Culture is very importing in being a uniting element and music has a great impact on connecting people of so many ethnically diverse societies – we need to conserve and protect natural and cultural heritage and always be open-minded – music is one way how to express and to live it – music has no borders.
Thank you for those great responses, Frieder!

The infamous Italian Fashion house is set to go fur-free in Spring/Summer 2018, following the footsteps of Armani who went fur-free in Autumn/Winter 2016.
The CEO Marco Bizzarri and the Creative Director for Gucci Alessandro Michele, have the same core values for the company and took the step to end the use of fur. This movement was made as the brand’s commitment to “sustainability”.
“Being socially responsible is one of Gucci’s core values, and we will continue to strive to do better for the environment and animals.” – Mr Bizzarri
This change means that the powerhouse will no longer use animals such as mink, coyote, raccoon, rabbits and any other animals that are caught or bred. Gucci will auction off any animal fur items they have remaining with the money going towards animal rights organisations.
Kitty Block, president of Humane Society International, celebrated the luxury brand’s move as a “compassionate decision”
“For this Italian powerhouse to end the use of fur because of the cruelty involved will have a huge ripple effect throughout the world of fashion”
Gucci will join and become part of the Fur Free Alliance, which has more than 40 organisations including Stella McCartney, which is owned by the Kering group.
