It features stunning and flowing vocals throughout the track, which gives the feel of true hope and honesty. This one is definitely for the playlists.
This beautiful and stunning music video for “Don’t Pull Away” by J.Views featuring stunning vocals by Milosh is not just for the ears but for the eyes. A poetic beautiful journey taking us through current issues in a subtle but also a very powerful way.
If you like pure Techno this latest track by the phenomenal Italian music producer and DJ Menny Fasano “Schmied” is a pure techno animal just for your ears. Nine minutes of pure club build, power energetic flow that transforms you into another dimension. A track for any DJ to have in their set. Definitely a track for night life playlists.

angel-like vocals by Amilia, the song has also a neat music video to go with

Roadcase Royale’s latest track “Get Loud” is a powerful and moving track. The song is
about getting loud and making a change, this message is driven throughout the
song. It is all about getting the voice and messages out there and this song does
just that. Overall, the song is truly beautiful and powerful. Definitely
something for the playlists in this political climate.
Mystery is the thing that makes our lives exciting, and is
what keeps us looking for more.
German electro producer Honey Tower brings
just that in the music scene. Her latest six track EP “METAMORPHOSEN”
is a touch of mystery and pure electro energy. The first track from the EP
named “L’ABEILLE”
is a pure growl-energetic electronic banger with strong and rather powerful steady
4/4 drum pattern. The second track of the EP is “COUTURE”
this track has a stunning drum pattern with a touch of haunting reverb,
supported by robotic vocals which give the track a modern-like feel. Furthermore,
the third track in the EP “HYDE” is a mix of 80’s drums with screech-like
haunting synth. Sounds of mysterious vocals and pluck lead conversing through
the track making it feel like a conversation going on between the instruments
developing this track into a story-like piece. “VAMPYRE
NYC” is the fourth track in the EP which features some growling and
modern electro bass which sounds very raw and energetic, also lead by some
heavy 4/4 drums. “ENTRE
CHIEN ET LOUP” is the fifth track of the EP, this track features
some ambience lead with a feel of metal and some stunning crushing drums that
makes it feel like a techno blast from the past. This one is definitely our
favourite track of the EP as it seems like an automatic club hit. Last but not
least “DORIAN” is a more of progressive track in the EP. It has a striking dutch-like
lead fundamentally leading the track with a lovely mix of sounds filling the
frequencies of our ears.
Overall, the EP is very well executed and thought out. This
has to be some of the best work by Honey Tower. It has us excited for what is
to come from this mysterious and energetic artist.
Recently, we had a big pleasure to interview an up and coming pop band ‘The Real Cool’. Formed in Birmingham, the band is still fresh and with a lot of hope. Here is our interview with the band just before their latest EP “Wayback” is released on 7th of March.
Hello! How are you doing?
Tom:Great man!
Jacob: Yeah good thanks!
Ellis:Im doing good too thanks.
How did you guys form?
Tom:Jacob
and I decided that it would be cool to collaborate as brothers and musicians. So I started writing melodies, humming them in to my voice recorder on my iPhone. We developed the ideas together electronically on a laptop and before we realised it, our bedroom
project was launched on to stages around our city
Jacob: We were fed up of playing in covers bands and knew we could do something better with our abilities and love of music. Because we have such a close relationship as brothers and more or less the same music taste, the whole thing developed really quickly. We didn’t intend for it to get this far, it just turned out that people started liking what we were doing and now we’ve played many sold out shows and just finished our debut EP, pretty crazy really!
Ellis: I pestered Jacob into having a jam with him and Tom so that’s when I came in…
Describe your style in 3 words
Tom: Nostalgic,
infectious pop.
Jacob: cheesy pop bangers…
Ellis: For me it’s mellow, danceable and catchy.
Be famous and make bad music or make great music and be unknown?
Tom : Make
music that we love. That way people will have to care about it too.
Jacob: It all depends if its intentionally bad or not. We just make sounds that we love and if people want to jump on board thats a bonus.
Ellis: Make great music and be unknown, I wouldn’t want to be a sellout and just play brainwashing music.
Favourite meme?
Tom: I’ll
leave that to you guys.
Jacob: The doge one? ..wait is that even a meme? i can’t really help with this one unfortunately, not really my thing! Ellis, you got this one bro!
Ellis: My favourite meme is the shooting stars meme. You’ll be watching a video on Facebook and then it will just come out unexpectedly!
If you could collaborate with any artist who would it be and why?
Tom: John
Mayer, he’s my hero. It would be incredible to collaborate with such an iconic songwriter.
Jacob: The 1975 for sure. I would love to see how they approach creating their tracks as they do the majority of the production themselves.
Ellis: I would love to collaborate with Jess Glynne. She writes catchy songs that you can’t just help but groove to!
Favourite track at the moment?
Tom: ’Good
girls’ by LANY. I’m really enjoying listening to this band at the moment.
Jacob: ‘There’s a Honey’ by Pale Waves, what a tune! I’ve been waiting for a new song from these guys for a while and this does not disappoint!
Ellis: My favourite song at the moment is “weathered” by Jack Garratt. It just reminds me of how simple childhood was and you thought how amazing it would be when you grow up. I don’t know why but it has a nostalgic feeling about it.
What are your goals for 2017?
Tom:
I
just want to more make music that we love, music that people care about. And just play absolutely everywhere.
Jacob: More or less the same as Tom, to create and perform music i love. 2016 was a great year for us and 2017 is looking to be bigger and better so watch this space!
Ellis: My goal is to get some more music out there, play some awesome shows and just enjoy ourselves. Also maybe a holiday or two…
ULYSSES a music duo from Boston MA, showcases their latest EP “Entendre”
If you like dark & psychedelic electronic music, “Entendre” by ULYSSES is just a
thing for you. The 7 track EP/Mini album is a great showcase of dark and trippy
music. The second track ‘Spacetime’ is our favourite of the whole EP .
The sounds of crackle, highly-reverbed vocals and creatively EQ’d track makes
us feel like are in another space. The whole EP is very dimensional and dynamic. Definitely,
a name to keep your eyes on.
It is a pleasure to meet new people that are part of the group that works towards the
same goal, passion, and love for undiscovered music. Dan Sheed, the founder of Turtle Tempo music blog, is a person that is part of that small but very passionate group. Here is our interview with Dan.
Hello! How are you doing?
Brilliant, living the dream as always!
What made you start Turtle Tempo?
The love of good music did really. A huge inspiration behind starting Turtle Tempo last year was the band Viola Beach, who tragically passed away early in 2016 along with their manager Craig. I stumbled across their music by chance a few months previously before their passing and they certainly gave me a burning desire to help spread the word about cool upcoming artists. Just a handful of months later, I was kindly asked by Chris from Lost In The Manor to curate the final night of a month-long festival put together by some of the best music tastemakers in the U.K. The Amazons headlined our night, with Brijs and Videocean playing too. It was pretty surreal seeing my website’s logo on posters around the venue – it was something pretty special which I certainly didn’t envisage when I started the project!
Any resolutions for 2017?
On a personal level, I’ve decided that I’m going to go a year without eating a Domino’s Pizza. Although we’re barely a week into January and I’m already having withdrawals, I think that’s probably the toughest resolution out there? For Turtle Tempo, the aim is to carry on shouting about talented upcoming artists.
If you could master one skill what would it be and why?
I can play a handful of songs on my guitar right now, but if I could master one skill it would be the ability to play every instrument in the world. How cool would that be?
Favourite nostalgic song?
‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ by Oasis
Netflix or Sports?
Sports, although being a Charlton Athletic supporter I find myself resorting to Netflix as a pick-me-up a lot more often than I should.
First song you ever bought?
I’m pretty ashamed to admit it but I think it was either a toss-up between ‘You Can’t See Me’ by John Cena, or ‘Crank That’ by Soulja Boy. Yeah… I’d like to think that my music taste has dramatically improved since being a WWE enthusiastic 10-year-old!
