7 Proven Ways To Improve Your Business With Professional Gambling

  1. Critical thinking

To do well in gambling, you need to devise a strategy and critically analyze your moves. Because gambling is also a matter of chance, a wrong move can decrease your odds of winning. Therefore, it enforces you to think ahead and plan for unwanted scenarios. As a result, you could gain the ability to give attention to detail, one of the most important skills for managing a business.

  1. Emotional intelligence

Getting emotionally attached to a casino game will only make things worse. As a professional gambler, you know the repercussions of making decisions based on emotions. While doing so, you also develop the ability to read people’s expressions and body language and understand their thoughts. It can be highly beneficial for your business.

  1. Ability to find solutions

Gamblers understand that you cannot win every day. Hence, you use different betting options and try to minimize the losses. Being creative and using available options to your advantage makes you confident and improves your decision-making.

  1. Calculative skills

Most casino games require players to calculate their moves. When you play online roulette or games like blackjack and poker, it makes you think hard about the numbers. When you are concerned with RTP, a risk-to-reward ratio, winning odds, etc. It develops your cognitive abilities and increases your focus level.

  1. Attitude

Gambling is all about attitude. It is a prerequisite to have a positive attitude toward casino gaming. It gives you confidence and hope of winning a jackpot or big prize money. The same goes for building a successful business. Your positive attitude can sometimes make or break a deal.

  1. Social skills

Visiting casinos and interacting with new people develops your communication skills. Meeting with diverse people allows you to learn about different people. With this approach, you can  better understand the way your customers feel and serve them well.

  1. Accountability

With gambling, you understand the concept of losing money. Either it is your fault or the class of the opponent. You learn to appreciate and take responsibility for your actions. Such principles make you accountable in your business despite your best efforts.

8 Films to Watch This Holiday Season If You’re Tired of Watching Traditional Holiday Films

0

If you’re looking for a post about all the best holiday movies (i.e., It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street or Elf), you best be looking elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong, I love the classics. I could quote Home Alone from start to finish. But that’s the problem. I’ve seen the classic Christmas movies far too often now.

So, I wanted to create a list of the most unconventional “holiday” (I use the term “holiday” loosely here) movies to watch this season. And no, I’m not talking about Die Hard, which is still a Christmas movie. I’m talking about the most un-Christmas-y movies that you could say are still technically holiday movies. Without further ado, here are the non-holiday movies that you should still watch this holiday season.

Groundhog Day

Not only is it a Bill Murray classic, but it features blizzards, snowmen and ice sculptures. Plus, who can say no to a little seasonal depression from watching Bill Murray repeatedly experience a dreary February Day?

(Note: if you like Groundhog Day, try Scrooged, which is an actual Christmas movie with Bill Murray!)

Knives Out

I know that Glass Onion just came out, but I’m focusing on Knives Out here. And I know this might be a stretch, but hear me out. What’s more Christmas-y than family dysfunction and a classic murder mystery? Plus, it features an ensemble cast, including Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, and the late Christopher Plummer.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Wes Anderson’s Oscar-winning film is a combination of quirky and visually appealing in a snow setting. It also has an ensemble cast, including Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Willem Dafoe, Tony Revolori, Adrien Brody and, yes, again, Bill Murray (I guess there’s a trend here).

Jumanji (the 1993 version)

I’m biased because I grew up watching this movie and I adore Robin Williams. But in my defence, the last scene of the film takes place during a Christmas party, so I guess that makes this a holiday movie?

Gremlins

It may not be a traditional Christmas movie, but it’s still a cult classic. Plus, it features a Christmas setting, a Santa hat and a cute little Gizmo.

Hook

There’s definitely another pattern emerging here as this is another Robin Williams classic. But hey, as the film begins, there is a Christmas backdrop. Plus, there’s nothing more Christmas-y than magic and a man embracing his inner child.

L.A. Confidential

Bear with me here, but this film noir classic set in Los Angeles is a Christmas movie, and I will die on top of a chilly snowy mountain before I change my opinion about this. Not only is it a delight to watch, but the film is filled with Christmas lights and there’s literally a pivotal event that happens in the movie called “Bloody Christmas.” Need I say more?

Psycho (the 1960 version)

I saved this one for last because it is perhaps the biggest stretch. But Alfred Kitchcock’s 1960 masterpiece of horror does take place in December and there are some lovely Christmas decorations to be seen before the film takes a dark turn. Okay, that wasn’t convincing. But there is a case to be made as to why Psycho is considered Hitchcock’s take on Christmas.

There you have it, folks: my list of non-holiday movies to consider watching this holiday season.

Superorganism Release New Song ‘Woofin’ & Meowin’’

0

Superorganism have shared a new song, ‘Woofin’ & Meowin’’, which was recorded for the animated TV show HouseBroken’s holiday episodes. Check it out below.

“We were so stoked when Housebroken approached us to write a song for their holiday specials,” the group’s Harry said in a press release. “We all love the show, and considering some cartoon themes and soundtracks shaped our childhoods and ultimately our tastes, it was super inspiring to get involved. We wrote Woofin’ and Meowin’ immediately before we set off on our first tour since the pandemic, and I think you can feel that anxiety and excitement bubbling over. To me, it sounds like the excitement my family dog felt, reflecting our excitement as kids on Christmas day. Poor little fella had no idea why we were all so hyped up, but he just enjoyed the moment and got excited with us anyway.”

Superorganism released their second album, World Wide Pop, earlier this year.

5 ways to make extra income as a part time student-intern

All of us have been there, done that. As students, when you’ve multiple costs piling up in your expense sheet, your budget starts taking a toll. When there are expenditures involved in almost every step of our journey, it is always better to have some extra sources of income — ones that can help us make more money without compromising upon the learning part of it. Here are five of the easiest ways out there to make money as a student or an intern, without giving up upon the fun. Read along!

Be a gamer (plus one if you can Livestream)

We can’t stress this enough. Like what in the world can beat a more fun experience than gaming? And, what if you could earn from it? Calm down upon your curiosity buds and understand that there are a number of games like judi slot gacor , and many others available in the market that can help you win real cash, provided you learn the subtle art of gaming, and be pro at it without risking it all. While some games like judi slot terpercaya can make you win big, you can also be a gamer cum youtuber and earn via livestreams, uploads and sponsorships. Who knows which of your videos go viral and you start minting money like there’s no tomorrow?

Become a tutor — a great way to learn and earn

Those who share what they know with others never have to worry about the deficit of it. Knowledge is something that grows with you, and the more you share the better it gets. And, that is why tutions can be a great way for students to make extra money while being stacked up with what they already know. The best thing about being a tutor is the flexibility and the initiative it provides to be in sync with things one already knows and understands. Also, the ability to embark knowledge upon people who really need it in the first place is priceless.

Online Surveys — they’re still great and they actually pay

Ah, we know you’ve read from a number of sources about making some extra income with online surveys. But then, something or the other has stopped you from even trying them out. Right? Well, Online surveys are good if you do not want to spend a lot of time in  your part time gig. All you need to do is, have an internet connection and sign up with a number of survey aggregators and online surveying platforms, and wait for them to share relevant information regarding open surveys with you, and companies that are inviting applicants for paid market research and surveys.

Become a dropshipper — a goldmine of opportunities

No matter how hard someone tries to convince you about the notion of dropshipping being dead, do not listen to it. People generally presume that dropshipping goods from a supplier to a customer can be expensive, but that is not just true. You can get suppliers who can ship quality products at cheap prices at Alibaba, and you can also stumble upon that potential customer via Amazon — both of which don’t charge a penny to register. Also you can sell items via Facebook marketplace and other social media, which again brings us to the title — a goldmine for opportunities.

Start a blog — the affiliate way of doing things

You’ve been here in the past — a time when you stumbled upon that video to make good mullahs via blogging. Well, some things do not change and do not age. Nothing ever in this world can beat the power of quality content, and when you add the SEO capabilities, link building and affiliate marketing to the prospects, you have a potential money minting machine — that can soon turn into a full time gig. Also, unlike the popular idea of blogs costing you some cash, it is actually free. You can get a free domain from blogspot or wordpress, and affiliate links from leading marketplaces and brands you would want to promote according to your niche. Pretty sleek!

Final Verdict

If you have an online connection and a cup of coffee, you can accomplish almost anything and everything — right from being a gamer to running your own blog. The bottom line is the ease that internet provides all of us, how differences have been eliminated with time and how all of us have an equal shot to make more money and be financially independent, along the way. Making money on the internet is easier than scrolling through it. Take action, and you’re good to succeed!

A Ted Series is Finally Happening on Peacock

It has long been touted that Ted will be returning in the form of a television series, rather than a silver screen sequel to 2015’s Ted 2. Seth MacFarlane believes that the best way to boost the franchise and align it with the modern entertainment industry is to get it onto a streaming platform.

Peacock picked up the rights for Ted, and the series will most likely drop some time in 2023. It will serve as a prequel to the films and will explore the early life of the sentient teddy bear.

Ted Prequel Series Began Filming in August

The Ted prequel series is definitely happening, as filming began in August 2022 and has already wrapped. The series is being produced by Fuzzy Door Productions, MRC, and Universal Content Productions, and Seth MacFarlane is the series creator. The Family Guy star is also set to reprise his role as the lovable talking teddy bear.

Rather than continue the story of the films, the as-yet-unnamed series will detail Ted’s early days as an anthropomorphic bear. This means that it will have a brand new cast and will most likely not feature Mark Wahlberg or Mila Kunis. Some of the stars confirmed to be in the show so far alongside MacFarlane include Alanna Ubach, Scott Grimes, and Giorgia Whigham.

There are eight episodes planned for the first season, but there hasn’t been an announcement about how many seasons there will be. There is a lot of potential for the series to go in new directions, though, as it will take place many years before the events of the movies.

Franchise Getting a Major Boost

It’s clear that MacFarlane is attempting to jump on the modern franchising trend of marketing a brand in as many places as possible to gain the greatest amount of attention. The movies were successful and brought in over $750 million between them, meaning that they can form a great foundation for a booming franchise.

One of the best ways to get a brand’s name in front of as many people as possible is to branch out into gaming. The slots market is often the best route, as a slot game can reach a sprawling audience. There is already a Ted slot, and it is one of the most popular games at MrQ. The site uses games like this to attract players, along with casino promotions that can help draw people to the site. These include deals like first deposit spins and a refer your friends bonus.

Adding a series to these offerings will boost the franchise even more and draw people to the other content available. It could also lead to more game releases on different platforms in the future.

MacFarlane has done plenty of projects in the film industry since he gained fame as the creator of Family Guy. However, his work on the smaller screen is arguably superior to what he’s done in cinema. That means that the Ted series could be a massive hit, and it’s likely to lead to the expansion of this popular franchise.

“It has been a pleasure getting to be a creative collaborator with EA on the new Need for Speed game,” A$AP Rocky commented in a statement. “‘Shittin’ Me’ serves as the lead track from the game soundtrack, and, with so much excitement around it, it was only natural to also do a music video. Grin Machine did a great job paying homage to the game collaboration with AWGE with the fun wacky aesthetics, and shout out to Krash and Hec for the music as always.”

Earlier this year, A$AP Rocky released the track ‘D.M.B.’. The rapper also appears on ‘Feel the Fiyaaaah’, from Metro Boomin’s new LP Heroes & Villains, which is out today.

Cassandra Jenkins Releases Live EP, Shares New ‘Crosshairs (interlude)’ Video

0

Cassandra Jenkins has collaborated with scholar, vocalist, and sārangī player Suhail Yusuf Khan for a new EP. It features improvisations and songs from Jenkins’ catalog, recorded live in the studio for Sonos Radio’s Music is Everything! podcast. Jenkins has also shared a new video for ‘Crosshairs (interlude)’, which was made with filmmaker Adinah Dancyge and writer, sex worker and political activist Liara Roux. Listen to Chale Jaana: Cassandra Jenkins & Suhail Yusuf Khan Live and check out the video below.

“Songs have many faces, and I wanted to explore the subconscious side of Crosshairs’ DNA by collaborating with other artists I love to create something tender and surreal,” Jenkins wrote in a statement about ‘Crosshairs (interlude)’. “I wanted to capture the kind of intimacy that happens between strangers, or two people who are exploring each other for the first time, and the way it opens up our psyches. The shoot was less of a performance, and more of a playful, intuitive scene.”

“Crosshairs reflects a curiosity about the subjective experience of intimacy,” Dancyger said. The magnification of details of the human form brings an otherworldly sense of such a human experience, a sacred feeling that can happen through human connection.”

Roux added: “I was so excited when Cassandra asked me to participate in this shoot – it was as though she read my mind! Crosshairs is my favorite song off the album. It’s moody and tender, captures that ineffable beauty of finding yourself falling into someone else and I think the video reflects that.”

Jenkins’ latest studio album was 2021’s An Overview on Phenomenal Nature, which was followed by the compilation (An Overview on) An Overview on Phenomenal Nature. Revisit our Artist Spotlight interview with Cassandra Jenkins.
