Hotline TNT Release New Song ‘Out of Town’

Hotline TNT have dropped a new song, ‘Out of Town’, lifted from the upcoming album Cartwheel. It arrives on the heels of the previously released singles ‘I Thought You’d Change’ and ‘Protocol’. The track was previewed throughout the week via the PC game Kaxtyn, hosted on bandleader Will Anderson’s online hub, assnup.com. Check it out below, along with the band’s newly announced tour dates.

“These days most people wouldn’t have the foolishness to start a song by singing the words ‘baby girl’ but I wanted to channel my Minnesotan roots and try it out, Paul Westerberg style,” Anderson said in a statement. “Matter of fact I think his influence is all over this tune, we had to betray the Bob Mould guidance one of these days and see how the other half lives. This one’s about losing someone you’re excited about before you even realized you had strong feelings about ‘em.”

Allegra Krieger Announces New EP, Shares New Single ‘Impasse’

Earlier this year, Allegra Krieger released I Keep My Feet on the Fragile Plane, her first LP on Double Double Whammy. Today, the New York-based songwriter has announced the Fragile Plane B-Sides EP, which features 7 songs that were written around the same time as the album. It’s out October 20, and its first single, ‘Impasse’, is out now. Listen to it below.

“‘Impasse’ is about this country, inspired by the attempted reelection of Donald Trump during quarantine and the noise & darkness imbued in the political games during that time. Juxtaposed next to natural disasters, disease, and wildfires, it all felt so naive, and, for me, amplified the reality of humanity’s impermanence and ignorance.”

Check out our Artist Spotlight interview with Allegra Krieger.

Phoenix have released a new remix of their Alpha Zulu track ‘All Eyes on Me’. It features a verse from Pusha T, production from the Neptunes’ Chad Hugo, and additional vocals from Benee. Check it out below.

“A huge thank you to le Roi Pusha-T — most played artist in our backstage; to Chad Hugo, who always showed up when we were playing in Virginia, it’s about time we worked together!” Phoenix said in a statement. “And to Benee, who worked at light speed to make this happen and added some magic. MERCI!!!”

Earlier this year, Phoenix shared a new version of ‘After Midnight’ featuring Clairo.

Viji Unveils New Single ‘Sundress in Pink’

Viji has previewed her upcoming debut album So Vanilla with a new track, ‘Sundress in Pink’. It follows the previously released singles ‘Sedative’ and ‘Karaoke’. Take a listen below.

“This song is one of my favourite ones off the record,” Viji said of ‘Sundress in Pink’ in a statement. “I’m not sure why but I think the bed of instruments is really comforting to me. The title essentially creates a world in which summer never ends. As long as I’m in the dress I can stay out as long as I want. It’s about escapism, for me it was in people and mostly I didn’t care who.”

“The lyric video I shot with my friends in Marseille,” Viji added. “Fading in and out of black and white back to colour and people, I wanted to capture the change from loneliness to togetherness. And as long as the dress is in colour I remain, ‘life’s fantasy’.”

So Vanilla comes out October 27 via Speedy Wunderground.

Another Sky Release New Song ‘Uh Oh!’

0

Another Sky have unveiled a new song called ‘Uh Oh!’. It follows the band’s recent outings ‘Psychopath’, ‘A Feeling’, and ‘Burn the Way’. Check it out below.

“’Uh Oh!; soundtracks a literal fall into the Thames, vocalist Catrin Vincent said in a statement. “The song is the flip side to “Fell In Love With The City” from the our debut record. That song was first we ever wrote, about the naive excitement of moving to the big smoke. This song is an answer to that. Now, we’re a bit chewed up and not so excited.

“Naomi’s bass riff was inspired by Jimmy Eat World and The Toy Dolls,” Vincent added. “Vocally, I was thinking The Pretenders, or Oasis. And Wet Leg had just absolutely popped off, so I was inspired to let go and have some fun”

Marika Hackman Announces New Album ‘Big Sigh’, Unveils New Song ‘Hanging’

Marika Hackman has announced her fourth LP, Big Sigh, which is slated to arrive on January 12 via Chrysalis Records. The singer-songwriter produced the follow-up to 2019’s Any Human Friend with Sam Petts-Davies and longtime collaborator Charlie Andrew. It will include the previously shared track ‘No Caffeine’, as well as the new single ‘Hanging’. Check it out and find the album artwork and tracklist below.

“‘Hanging’ is reflecting on a difficult past relationship and how you can trap yourself in a situation where you’re unable to grow into the next stage of your life,” Hackman explained in a press release. “The line ‘yeah you were a part of me, i’m so relieved it hurts’ is describing how painful it still is to break up even if it’s not right.”

“I’d always produced on my records, but I’d never backed myself enough to actually say that I had,” she added. “I liked being a sponge and I saw the first two thirds of my career as a learning experience – I would sit back in a slightly deferential position to allow the dynamic to work. With this album I got to a point where I realised I’d done the learning, I knew what to do.”

Wallpaper as an accent wall has become a go-to choice, not just for personal spaces but also for styling spaces for better sales results. Thoughtfully designed interiors with bold or unique wallpaper can leave a lasting impression, making homes feel more homey, and when the time comes, creating environments that attract and engage buyers.

The history of wallpaper is a rich tapestry that weaves together the trends and influences of each passing decade. From the extravagant Art Deco patterns of the 1920s to the eclectic fusions of the 21st century, wallpaper has evolved alongside societal shifts and design philosophies. Whether your style leans towards the simplicity of the ’50s or the boldness of the ’80s, there’s a wallpaper trend from the past that can seamlessly integrate into your modern space, proving that true style is timeless.
